Free diabetes community education classes occur monthly from 2-4 p.m.  First class focuses on managing your disease, sign and symptoms of high and low blood sugars, blood glucose monitoring, medications, reducing risks, physical activity and a brief diet overview.  The second class is an in-depth nutrition management class.  All attendees must attend the first class prior to attending the second class the following month.  Both classes run at the same time each month.
